A bylaw to make rules for the provision, operation and administration of the local services for fire prevention and suppression and the provision of assistance in response to other classes of circumstances that may cause harm. This bylaw includes the burning regulations.

Civic Addressing Bylaw (JDF Electoral Area) NO. 1, 2004

A Bylaw to Assign, Regulate and Display Civic Address Numbers in the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area Bylaw No. 3201, amendment Bylaw No.3267.

Ticket Information Authorization Bylaw, 1990

Bylaw 1857 has been amended by Bylaw 3453 to include the authority for the issuance of tickets for contravening various sections of the Fire Regulation Bylaw and the Civic Addressing Bylaw. Fines range from $50 to $500 depending on the section of the bylaw being contravened. Follow the link below for the full bylaw. Schedule 33 of this bylaw lists the fines for offenses under the Fire Regulation bylaw. Schedule 29 lists the fines for offenses under the Civic Addressing bylaw.

This bylaw establishes the local service area and defines the classes of circumstances in that assistance may be provided by the Fire Department.
