Campfires and Incinerators with screen are permitted in Otter Point

Campfires and now Incinerators with a screen are permitted in Otter Point until the fire hazard rating rises.

No Open Burning of yard waste or debris will be permitted until October at the earliest. https://otterpointfire.bc.ca/burning-regulations/

FIRE HAZARD RATING

OPEN BURNING PERMITTED

Permits required for Class A Fires. Greater than 2 Meters (6ft.) in diameter.

Permits required for Class B Fires less than 2 Meters (6ft.) in diameter.

Campfires and Incinerators with screens are OK. No permits required.

High Risk Activities are OK.
