FIRE HAZARD RATING

 

Category 1 Campfires.   Effective at Noon August 28th, 2024.

The current provincial campfire prohibition will be rescinded.  No Permit required. Campfires need to be 0.5 metre high by 0.5 metre wide or smaller. 

Category 2 Fires (Class B) are OK. Fires burning debris in 1 pile smaller than 2 meters high by 3 meters wide.  Permits required as of April 1st 2025 

Category 3 (Class A) Fires are Limited. Fires greater then Category 2 Permits required and a Mandatory site inspection. Contact the Fire Department to see if you qualify.
