Otter Point Firefighters Halloween Celebrations

Thursday October 31st at Camp Barnard the Otter Point Firefighters will be hosting a bonfire with hot dogs and hot chocolate for All. Candy bags for the kids! Event starts at 6:30 with fireworks at 7:30. See you there.!!

FIRE HAZARD RATING

 

Category 1 Campfires.   Effective at Noon August 28th, 2024.

The current provincial campfire prohibition will be rescinded.  No Permit required. Campfires need to be 0.5 metre high by 0.5 metre wide or smaller. 

Category 2 Fires (Class B) are OK. Fires burning debris in 1 pile smaller than 2 meters high by 3 meters wide.  Permit required till October 31st. 

Category 3 (Class A) Fires are Limited. Fires greater then Category 2 Permits required and a Mandatory site inspection. Contact the Fire Department to see if you qualify.
