Smoky Skies in Otter Point caused by Washington State Wildfires

Sept 11, 2020. Wildfires in Washington State are causing Smoky Skies in the southern portion of BC including the Otter Point District.

FIRE HAZARD RATING

 

Category 1 Campfires.  Effective, September 4th  2026 , Campfires & Beach fires  WILL BE PERMITTED. 

Category 2 (Class B) Fires NOT permitted. Fires burning debris in 1 pile smaller than 2 meters high by 3 meters wide. All Permits will be rescinded Noon Thursday May 7th 2026  

Category 3 (Class A) Fires are prohibited. Fires greater then Category 2, Permits required and a Mandatory site inspection. Contact the Fire Department to see if you qualify.
